Eloise Cowles, Senior Vice President, Director of Operations & Technology
Eloise joined McMorgan & Company in 1999 and has over 24 years of investment operations experience. She manages McMorgan's technology division and portfolio accounting for stocks, bonds and real estate assets, including all performance reporting. Eloise also oversees the personnel and systems involved in executing and settling trades within the investment operations department. She holds a BS and MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University.
Robert A. Hills, Director of Compliance
Robert joined McMorgan & Company in 2007 and has over 15 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining McMorgan, he managed the Compliance, Reporting & Tax departments for Jackson National Asset Management LLC. Additionally, Robert served in various operational roles at Baker, Fentress & Company and Bisys Fund Services. Robert holds a BBA degree in Accounting & Finance from Olivet College.
Maya Solo, Vice President, Counsel
Maya joined McMorgan & Company in 2007 and serves as our in-house Counsel. Prior to joining McMorgan, Maya worked with Heller Ehrman LLP in San Francisco, CA, as an attorney in the Real Estate & Finance Practice Group. Maya received her JD from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law and a BA in History with Honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and the Bar Association of San Francisco.
Mark E. Flanagan, Vice President, Controller
Mark joined McMorgan & Company LLC in 2005 and serves as our Controller. As Controller, Mark has responsibility for all corporate finance activity including external reporting, internal financial management and business planning, treasury and cash management, reporting and budgeting with our parent company, establishment of and monitoring of financial internal controls and human resources. Prior to joining McMorgan, Mark was a partner with Lindquist LLP a regional accounting and auditing firm specializing in professional services to labor organization, not-for-profit entities and employee benefit plans. Mark has a BA degree in Economics from the University of California at Davis and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Steven E Steinbeck, Vice President, Systems Engineering
Steve joined McMorgan & Company in 1991 after 2 years with Wells Fargo bank managing their infrastructure needs at their wholesale mortgage loans facility and 3 years as a Senior Systems Analyst working in the IT service sector. He manages McMorgan's IT infrastructure, overseeing hardware systems integration, telecommunications, and security. Steve has 21 years of experience with local area networks and communications systems, and holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from the California State University Hayward.
Randal S. Rayborn, Vice President, Software Development
Randal joined McMorgan & Company in 2001 after ten years with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company and five years as an information technology consultant. He manages McMorgan's IT infrastructure, overseeing software development, systems integration, and data architecture. Randal has over 17 years of experience with investment accounting and trading systems, and holds a BS in Information Systems from the University of the State of New York.
Donna Cason, Assistant Vice President, Operations
Donna joined McMorgan and Company in 1987 and is responsible for managing operations in the Investment Department. Donna is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento. She holds the Series 6 and 63 licenses.
Henry M. Kao, Assistant Vice President, Business Systems
Henry joined McMorgan & Company in 2000. His responsibilities include overseeing system development, design and automation, and management of business systems, including reconciliation and data management and in house systems integration and interface with various external systems. Prior to joining McMorgan, Henry spent nine years at RCM Capital Management in San Francisco, CA, serving as a Chief Pricing Analyst. During his tenure at RCM, he spent two years in equity research and seven years in data management. Henry holds an MBA from the University of San Francisco, CA in Finance and Information Technology and a BS in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
